Exothermic welding process/operation instruction( 8 steps):
Step1:before the first welding, heat the graphite mold for 3-4 minutes to make sure it is dry and clean.
Step2:heating the conductor to make sure it is dry and clean.
Step3:clean the conductor with a steel brush.
Step4:place and fix the conductors in the graphite mold, then close the mould completely.
Step5:place the steel plate at the bottom of the graphite mold.
Step6:pour the welding powder into the mould’s reaction cavity. put the starting powder on top of the welding powder while some on the lip of the mould.
Step7:close the lid and ignite the starting powder with a flint gun.
Step8:after the exothermic welding reaction, wait for 2-3 minutes, open the mold and clean the welding residue.
Note:
⚫Before exothermic welding, check the mold clamp and adjust it properly to make sure it close tightly.
⚫Do not observe the welding process. It will hurt your eyes.
⚫Do not touch the conductor and the welding joint after welding to avoid pyrosis.
⚫Keep the weld metal in a dry place, don’t operate while blowing.

1. The weld powder formula is optimized, the ignition rate is nearly up to 100%, and the ignition efficiency is consistent and stable. and because the thermite reaction is more complete, the flame spray distance is shorter, which makes it safer.
2. Less residue, more environmentally friendly: The E-plus cup body is also a part of the welding formula, the whole copper cup will participate in the exothermic reaction, the cup body is integrated into the welding material, and there is almost no residue left.
3. The operation time is shorter: Put E-plus exothermic welding cup into the graphite mold, pull the quick plug of the electronic starter, and connect it to the welding cup, then press the switch button to perform exothermic welding. The operation time to complete the whole exothermic welding process is within 1 minute. There is no need to unpack, place steel discs, sprinkle ignition powder, ignite and other operations, saving about 70% of operating time, and of course, save labor costs for you.
4. Safe transportation and storage: Electronic ignition exothermic welding manufactured by our factory does not contain flammable and explosive components such as S and P, and can be transported by air to reduce transportation time. Moreover, 8-layer protective packaging(better packages against damping, moisture and vibration) is used to ensure the quality stability of the product in the natural environment, and it is easy to store and keep.
5. Safe operation: The electric starter comes with a 1.8m wire, double-point switch mode, and with warning reminder function to avoid accidental injuries during the exothermic welding process.
